This day and evening program offers group treatment and family education, along with individual counselling sessions. Program serves residents of Vancouver, Richmond, the North Shore up to Pemberton and the Sunshine Coast.
Program offers a co-ed stream open to all genders and a stream serving gay/bi/queer men, and trans people are welcome in both streams. A safe, fun drop-in for LGBTQI2S youth, allies, and friends.
New support, discussion, and community group for LGBTQ2S folks with lived experience of mental health and/or addictions issues. A drop-in group for anyone seeking information about a refugee claim based on persecution of their sexuality, gender identity or HIV status.
All gender welcome from the North Shore and all neighbouring / Metro Vancouver communities. It is facilitated by experienced volunteers, in English with bilingual Spanish and Arabic speakers. Please let them know if there is another language needed.
The group has been active since 1998; it’s for anyone mid-teens and older who was assigned F at birth, who has a male or masculine identity either part of the time or all the time; anyone mid-teens and older who considers themselves to be on the FTM spectrum is welcome, as is anyone mid-teens and older exploring whether they may be on this spectrum somewhere.
This is an information, discussion and general support group, focusing on topics relevant to FTM spectrum. It is not open to partners or family members unless they too are somewhere on the FTM spectrum.
Sher would like to help inform, educate and bring about more acceptance and understanding.
Everyone is welcome to join Sher, regardless of ethnicity, religious belief or sexuality.
Note: This is a drop-in group, registration is not necessary.
Our drop-ins are a great place to meet similar people and to just be yourself.
During drop-in times, there are always Youth Workers, volunteers, and other youth who are excited to get to know you.
Note: As a general policy, anything that Pride UBC does is open to anyone of any gender, sexuality, race, age (except for events with liquor), ability and so on.
They have a strict safe space policy and try to be respectful of all that wish to join.
Trans Tea Time: facilitated by a trans person but is inclusive to all gender and sexual identities and non-identities.
